Newborn to Age 4

Both children and adults sit in a circle and participate, led by a teacher with early childhood and music skills. The teacher helps adults understand how to participate and the importance of relaxing and enjoying the activities with their children.
Families are encouraged to attend class together, so younger children and older children in the same family can learn music and movement activities together at home.

This class is designed for children 2.9-5 years of age (2 previous Music Together^® classes required).

Children and grown-ups enjoy Music Together favorite activities. We will explore musical games, improvisation, independent singing, dance and dramatic play. This is an emergent curriculum. As a result, many of the ideas that happen in class will come from the children.

Newborn - 8 months

Parents hold their babies and move to the music and around the studio or sit on the floor singing to their babies. Parents may see their babies response to music, which may include squeals of delight, cooing, smiles, waving arms or a shift in eye focus. At home, parents play to Music Together recordings and are surprised to see their baby's response to the recordings.
